After Tokyo, Hong Kong, Geneva and Boca Raton (Florida), F.P. Journe opened on 8 December last year a watch salon in Paris, at no 63 du Faubourg St-Honor¨¦, near the Elys¨¦e Palace, hitherto home to the Galerie P¨¦trides, representative of the painter Utrillo.
This is the company's fifth store and was designed in its entirety by François-Paul Journe in line with the concept of previous outlets. It includes a lounge area with a bar and a watchmaking library where collectors and devotees of fine watchmaking can meet and discuss their shared passion. On the wall, large black and white photos of watchmakers at the bench allow visitors a glimpse behind the scenes of the company prior to their acquisition of chronometers produced in time-honoured watchmaking tradition., |
